Wat was het te gek vorig jaar april, dus zo leuk dat hij nu weer bij ons on stage is te zien.
Dudley Taft hoort overduidelijk in het bluesrock kamp thuis maar dient dan wel ingedeeld te worden bij bluesrockers als Joe Bonamassa. Zijn bluesrock zit namelijk vol met verwijzingen naar de zogenaamde Classic Rock en klinkt bij vlagen behoorlijk funky.
Dudley Taft’s gitaarspel is vaak vergeleken met dat van Jimmy Page, Gary Moore en Joe Bonamassa. Echter, “het is de kracht van zelfgeschreven materiaal dat dit zo’n succes maakt …” Aldus Blues Matters Magazine in de review van Dudley Taft’s debuut cd ‘Left for Dead’. De band combineert stuwende riffs met een frisse kijk op de klassieke blues, en origineel eigen materiaal. In een relatief korte tijd, krijgt de band lovende kritieken over de hele wereld en de belangrijkste live shows (fests) in vooral het Noordwesten van de USA hebben Dudley al gestrikt.
